Making Yakbap (Yakbap)
Yaksik is a food cooked by steaming glutinous rice and mixing various ingredients such as jujube, chestnut, pine nut, sesame oil, honey, and soy sauce.It is also called Yaksik or Yakban Honey Rice or Milban. According to Dongguk Sesigi, yakbap is a good food on a full moon day and is an old custom of Silla.

Cooking Steps
STEP 1/9
Wash glutinous rice thoroughly and soak it for about an hour.

Cut the chestnuts in half.
STEP 3/9
Turn the jujube to remove the seeds and sift it.

Combine brown sugar, salt, sesame oil, soy sauce, cinnamon powder, pine nuts, etc.

Mix brown sugar and glutinous rice mixed in a pressure rice cooker.

Mix chestnuts and jujubes well on top.

Pour in about 4 cups of water and cook for 35 minutes with multi-purpose steaming.
