How to make fried lotus roots. Crispy and sweet!
I saw fried lotus roots last time and I wanted to eat it so I decided to make it this time I was curious what it would taste like. I only made lotus root and ate it, but I thought it would taste different if it was fried.. Hah! Slice it thinly, fry it, and sprinkle sugar on it to make it look like a lotus root!   • lotus root
  • Sugar
  • Cooking oil
  • Salt
  • Water
Cooking Steps
STEP 1/6
Peel the lotus root and wash it clean.
STEP 2/6
Slice lotus root thinly.
The thinner it is, the more crisp it is! It'll be easier if you chop it with a knife

Soak lotus root in salt water for about 20 minutes to remove the arin taste.
