The golden recipe for doenjang stew, a savory rice thief
I made doenjang jjigae, a representative jjigae that can't be left out!! It's a delicious doenjang jjigae with savory soybean paste broth and each vegetable I think two bowls of rice would be easy with just one soybean paste stew!! It's simple to make, so you can make it quickly in a busy morning, or it'll be good to make it when you can't think of the right stew to make.

Ingredients
  • Water
    400ml
  • Young squash
    1/3ea
  • Tofu
    1/4piece
  • onion
    1/2ea
  • Shiitake mushroom
    3ea
  • Cheongyang red pepper
    3ea
  • leek
    20g
  • Soybean paste
    2TS
  • crushed garlic
    1TS
  • Red pepper powder
    1TS
Cooking Steps
STEP 1/10
Please prepare the ingredients.
(If you add shiitake mushrooms, it's good to cut the scent into the soup~!!)
STEP 2/10
Cut the vegetables into the shape you want.
STEP 3/10
Put the rice water in a pot and sieve the soybean paste.
(The soup doesn't have any ingredients, so it becomes cleaner!)
STEP 4/10
Add minced garlic.
STEP 5/10
Boil the broth over high heat.
(Remove the foam in between~.)
STEP 6/10
When the broth boils, add the green onions and boil for another minute.
STEP 7/10
Add all vegetables except onions.
STEP 8/10
Add red pepper powder and boil it.
STEP 9/10
When doenjang-jjigae boils, add onions.
(The onion will soften quickly, so put it in at the end!)
STEP 10/10
Boil it over high heat for about 2 minutes, and it's a delicious and savory soybean paste stew!
If you use rice water, the stew is cleaner and more savory!! Please control the vegetables in the soybean paste stew to your liking!! Please use salt for the lack of seasoning.
