Seaweed soup, which helps blood circulation and clears blood, is popular not only for mothers but also for women. It's a traditional Korean dish enjoyed by men and women of all ages. Seaweed is rich in calcium and iodine, which helps contract the uterus after childbirth and acts as a hematopoietic agent. As this fact has been scientifically proven, famous hospitals in the United States have also made headlines for offering seaweed soup as a postpartum health food. At the Queen of Angels Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital in Los Angeles, the U.S., seaweed soup was proudly listed as a favorite menu for mothers and lactation departments as well as ordinary patients Seaweed soup, of course, Korean food, is imprinted on people around the world as a healthy food. Of course, it goes well with beef nutritionally and taste, so many people make beef seaweed soup. However, I like seafood soup more than meat soup, so I often make it with dried pollack, oysters, and dried shrimp when I cook seaweed soup.
