STEP 1/10
I used 5 slices of bread, but I didn't have enough caramel sauce. I think 3 slices of bread would have been perfect. I cut it into 16 pieces. I think I can cut it into 20 pieces.
STEP 2/10
I cut all five of them, and it's a lot.
STEP 3/10
I really need a well coated frying pan to make my favorite bread dish, Caramel Bread Popcorn!!!
STEP 4/10
Bake bread in a happy call frying pan. I was supposed to be watching from the side, but I did something else(?) and burned it a little.
STEP 5/10
When you grill it, there are a lot of crumbs on the floor. Strain the crumbs in a sieve with a hole in it. And wait while making the caramel sauce
STEP 6/10
Add 6T of sugar and 6T of water and boil. At this point, the important point!!!! Never get wet and leave on medium heat.
STEP 7/10
After the sugar melts, add 20g of butter.
STEP 8/10
When butter melts, add 2T of milk and 5T of condensed milk.
STEP 9/10
Stir when it boils up.
STEP 10/10
Add the bread to the caramel and mix with the lowest heat. If you mix it with the heat off, it hardens. That's why they keep it on low heat.
The amount of bread was too much, so the caramel didn't get on it evenly, right? The amount of caramel I made seems to fit perfectly with three slices of bread, but the overlapping ones stick, so keep them apart until they harden. Dry on paper foil or tray.
