  • Castella

Cooking Steps

Mash one ripe banana.
STEP 2/10
Add 130g of glutinous rice flour, a pinch of salt, and beat while mixing.

If you keep kneading, the dough is done.

Remove the dough little by little, make it round, and shape it flat.
Cut half of the bananas into small pieces, one at a time, and wrap them around the dough.

Please shape it in the shape you want. I made it long.

Add banana rice cake made in boiling water.
If the rice cake comes up, take it out.
STEP 7/10
Cool in cold water immediately and drain using a sieve.

Grind the castella finely to form a powder.

Cover banana rice cake with castella powder evenly.

If it's evenly coated, it's done.
