In a cast iron pot, boil over medium heat for 1-2 minutes, stirring 1.5 cups of coconut milk, 1.5 cups of water, a pinch of salt, and a teaspoon of sugar.

Stir in brown rice (soaked in water for 30 minutes) when the sugar is well melted, then close the lid when it boils and simmer over low heat for 20-25 minutes.

I think it's okay to add more coconut milk and reduce the amount of water
