Peel the onion, wash it thoroughly, dry it, and put it in a large bottle.

Put 2,500ml of water in a large pot and boil it with bay salt, plum extract, vinegar, soy sauce for soup, starch syrup, soy sauce for soup, bay leaves and whole pepper.

When the sauce boils, cool it down and pour it into the onion.

After a week, boil it again with the sauce, cool it down, pour it into the onion, put it in a shade, and after about two weeks, transfer it to a small container and refrigerate it.
I didn't use dark soy sauce to make onion-colored pickles. If you want dark pickles, add dark soy sauce instead of soy sauce~~
