STEP 1/14
Material preparation
STEP 2/14
- Soak 2 cups of glutinous rice measured with paper cups in water the day before.
STEP 3/14
I bought it at the market and they gave me basic care.
- The basic care is to clean the inside of the body with water and then the yellow lump of oil around the neck
STEP 4/14
- Cut and remove the tail with scissors on the other side
Tip. If you remove the skin and oil (indication of arrow) around the tail, the sticky rice will come out, so don't remove it completely
STEP 5/14
- Add chestnuts, jujube, garlic, and ginkgo
STEP 6/14
Tip. Add chestnuts first to prevent sticky rice from sticking out.
STEP 7/14
- Add 2 tablespoons of soaked glutinous rice
STEP 8/14
- Make cuts in the inner shell of the leg so that the leg doesn't loosen up
Tip. Put it in the opposite direction so that it's an X shape.
STEP 9/14
- You don't cut a single wing and put it between your legs
STEP 10/14
- Cut a word and stick it in with a toothpick
Tip. You have to fix it to make pretty samgyetang.
STEP 11/14
- I use the medicine pack for samgyetang or I put in the herbal medicine that I have at home.
- Boil medicinal herbs in water for 10 minutes after starting to boil
STEP 12/14
- Put the chicken and boil it for 40 to 50 minutes while controlling the heat
STEP 13/14
Samgyetang is complete!
STEP 14/14
Put the remaining soaked glutinous rice in the chicken soup and boil it over medium heat. When the rice is released, chop the same amount of carrot fried rice as 1/4 zucchini and boil it. When the concentration is desired, cut the chives and put them in the end.
1. The medicinal herbs had such a strong scent that I took them out after 10 minutes. You can take it out to your liking or boil it until the end.
2. If it's hard to make cuts and put your legs in, tie your legs with thread and stick your wings in with a toothpick.
3. You can put ginseng in it with ginseng.
