STEP 1/14
Prepare abalone as much as you can eat.
I'm going to show you 1-2 things to make it easier to explain
Wash abalone in running water.
STEP 2/14
Use a new iron scrubber or toothbrush under running water to clean the black spots of abalone
STEP 3/14
I'll do my best
As the black stain comes off, the white flesh of the abalone begins to appear.
STEP 4/14
Like this!!!
Turn the rice spoon upside down and push the spoon from the end of the abalone's flesh and skin.
STEP 5/14
If you flip the spoon and push it with all your might, it separates the flesh from the shell.
STEP 6/14
Ta-da! First, we succeeded in separating the abalone meat from the shell!
STEP 7/14
Place the abalone on the cutting board, and separate the abalone flesh and the abalone intestines in the direction of the arrow.
*Caution*
The knife is tilted slightly to a 45 slope to create an empty space between the abalone flesh and the abalone intestines,
And as the space was created, it started to separate,
Stand the knife that was laid 45 to the side and remove it with a little force.
STEP 8/14
And as the space was created, it started to separate,
Stand the knife that was laid 45 to the side and remove it with a little force.
Do you see the arrow in the picture? When there's a space like this, loosen up the force on the hand that was holding the knife and push it out
STEP 9/14
I'm going to fix the abalone intestines.
I know that the red part you see in the picture is the gallbladder of the abalone intestines
There's a part that sticks out when you lay down the abalone intestines.
Cut this part with a knife and remove it.
STEP 10/14
Ta-da
You can separate it like this
It's the left side of the picture = abalone internal part, so eat it, and throw away the right side = abalone gallbladder part of the picture!
STEP 11/14
Let's finish preparing the abalone?
If you put the abalone on the cutting board, there's a red spot like the picture. At the end of the abalone! Can you see the red circle and the line?
That part is called the tooth of the abalone.
If you slightly cut it and cut it, abalone tooth removal is easily done.
STEP 12/14
Remove this part~
The abalone tooth part!
It's easy because I just have to cut it with a knife and throw it away, right?
STEP 13/14
I'm done with preparing the abalones.
As shown in the picture, you can only use abalone flesh and intestines for food.
STEP 14/14
Ta-da
How to make abalone and cut raw abalone is so easy, right? ^^
For beginners who are new to abalone grooming, it is recommended to wear rubber gloves because there is a risk of hurting your hand when removing the shell. It stings and hurts a lot
