STEP 1/19
Prepare the ingredients. I made a small can of tuna, and only one bean curd, but you can add or subtract depending on your preference.
STEP 2/19
It's 1/4 head of ripe kimchi. It's ripened outside the kimchi refrigerator. It tastes sour just by looking at it. Cut it into bite-size pieces, please. If you don't have ripe kimchi, you can use regular kimchi.
STEP 3/19
Cut one tofu in half and cut it into bite-size pieces, and slice one green onion. Please cut 2 cheongyang peppers, too
STEP 4/19
Put ripe kimchi and kimchi soup in a pot.
STEP 5/19
If you want a clean taste of tuna, remove the oil and add the oil if you want more savory tuna flavor. I put everything in.
STEP 6/19
Add some hot pepper, please.
STEP 7/19
Add tofu, please.
STEP 8/19
Add plenty of water, please. Add enough ingredients to cover. I'm going to boil it down. I used the rice floating water that I received in advance. It tastes much deeper
STEP 9/19
Add 2 spoons of red pepper powder.
STEP 10/19
Add a spoon of soy sauce, please.
STEP 11/19
Add 1/2 spoon of tuna sauce.
STEP 12/19
I'd like a teaspoon of course. If the kimchi is too cooked and tastes sour, you can add a little more sugar. It takes away the sourness.
STEP 13/19
Boil it on high heat
STEP 14/19
Boil it once, add 1 tsp ground garlic, and add green onions.
STEP 15/19
Bring it to a boil over high heat again.
STEP 16/19
At first, it looks like there's a lot of soup. Kimchi stew needs to be cooked thoroughly to taste better, so keep boiling it on low heat.
STEP 17/19
The soup was boiled down and the ingredients were visible. It's done deliciously.
STEP 18/19
I'm going to scoop up a bowl and eat it. It tastes like deep kimchi maybe because the ripe kimchi tastes good. The taste of kimchi is so strong that the ripe kimchi slightly covers the taste of tuna. There was a lot of kimchi, and a large can of tuna would be good.
STEP 19/19
When I didn't add tofu, I only ate kimchi, but with tofu in it, I feel like I'm eating something plentifully. I think it'll feel like I'm eating it with pork. The combination of tofu and tuna is also pretty good. As expected, kimchi stew is the truth for Koreans.
If the ripe kimchi is overcooked and tastes sour, add a little more sugar to balance it. If you like tuna, you can use a large can.
