Cooking Steps
STEP 1/12
Grease the pan and bake until golden brown. When you grill it, you have to press it to cook it so that the insides can be cooked neatly.
STEP 2/12
Usually, there are various vegetables that go into anti-American food, but it depends on the restaurant. I chose tomatoes, celery leaves, and cucumbers instead of coriander. Prepare celery only by picking the leaves. Cut tomatoes and cucumbers into slices and prepare them.
STEP 3/12
I bought a long baguette because the bakery asked me to divide it into three. And cut the insides in half. Cut the chisel so that it sticks.
STEP 4/12
Spread mayonnaise on the soft bread inside. Spread evenly on both sides. The characteristic of anti-Americanism is to spread mayonnaise on the bread. So the outside is hard and crispy baguette, but the more you chew it, the softer it feels due to mayonnaise. Of course, anti-Americanism in Vietnam is a baguette made from rice. However, it is not easy to get a baguette made of rice in Korea, so you can just use a baguette made of flour from a bakery.
STEP 5/12
Add plenty of celery leaves to the mayonnaise-coated baguette. If you like cilantro, you can add cilantro.
STEP 6/12
And add sliced tomatoes.
STEP 7/12
As expected, add the cucumber and grilled meatball. You can put the whole meatball in. You can also loosen the meatballs and put them in the tacos. Or you can add fish sauce and oyster sauce to bulgogi beef, marinate it, and then grill the bulgogi-like long meat.
STEP 8/12
And you can put it in a bag of baguette and eat it with it. It's a hearty Vietnamese half-moon rice with meat, celery, cucumbers, and tomatoes.
STEP 9/12
If you don't like the hard and tough texture of baguette, it's also good to eat it wrapped in tortilla. But you have to grill the tortilla on the outside. Spread mayonnaise on lightly baked tortillas and top with celery leaves, lettuce, cucumbers, and tomatoes.
STEP 10/12
And put the meat on top.
STEP 11/12
You can roll it with sweet chili sauce or hot chili sauce depending on your preference. Or you can bake tortillas crispy, fold them in half, and put the above ingredients on top and eat them like tacos.
STEP 12/12
Wrap it in parchment paper and it's clean and good for picnics. Or it could be a lunch box. Actually, I recommend baguette more for lunch boxes. Because even if the tortilla is slightly grilled, it gets soggy unless you eat it right away. Baguette doesn't get soggy, but rather a little softer.
