STEP 3/13
Prepare 2 cups of sugar (full of 500ml bottles).
STEP 4/13
Place grapes in a deep coated pan or pot and simmer stirring over high heat.
STEP 5/13
When the grapes are almost completely peeled off, reduce the heat and continue to boil until the grapes are released.
STEP 6/13
Even if you can barely see the grapes, mash the remaining grapes until only the skin and seeds are left.
STEP 7/13
Strain through a sieve and press down as hard as possible so that only seeds and skins remain.
STEP 8/13
Return the filtered grape juice to medium heat and add 2 cups of sugar.
STEP 9/13
When the sugar is completely melted, add 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and continue to boil.
STEP 10/13
Continue to boil, stirring, until reduced by half.
STEP 11/13
Turn off the heat when you scratch the floor and start to clump together.
STEP 12/13
Transfer to a glass bottle, remove the foam from the top and cool it down at room temperature.
STEP 13/13
After cooling it down, completely cool it down in the refrigerator!
- Grape doesn't come off easily, so you have to be extra careful about bowls, spatula, clothes, sinks, etc.
