Making Stir-fried Morning Glory, Simple Side Dish
The texture of the crunchy stems and soft leaves. It doesn't taste strong, it's light and has almost no scent, so it's not burdensome, so I keep eating it~ And the smell of the garlic and the taste of the sweet green onion, which are stir-fried separately at the beginning, are added to the morning glory (Gongsimchae), giving it an exotic feeling.

Ingredients
  • a public bond
    220g
  • Oyster sauce
    1T
  • Fish sauce with sand lance extract
    1/2t
  • Cooking oil
    1.5T
  • Water
    4~5T
  • Sesame oil
    1t
  • leek
    7cm
  • crushed garlic
    1T
Cooking Steps
STEP 1/6
Separate the leaves and stems of the morning glory by cutting them with a knife. And chop the green onion and chop the garlic into small pieces.
STEP 2/6
Grease a preheated frying pan with cooking oil, add green onions and minced garlic and stir-fry over medium heat until garlic is lightly cooked.
STEP 3/6
When the garlic starts to smell, add the morning glory stems and stir-fry for about 8 minutes (longer than expected)
STEP 4/6
Oh, at the same time, add 2T of water and stir-fry it. (If you don't have enough water, you can add the remaining 2-3T on your own.)
STEP 5/6
When the stem is softened, stir-fry the morning glory leaves, oyster sauce, and fish sauce for about 2 minutes,
STEP 6/6
When the leaves are all cooked, turn off the heat, add sesame oil, and mix them together.
Based on T = 15cc, t = 5cc. The stem is not cooked as well as you think, so add water and stir-fry it carefully over time so that it does not burn.

It was so good when I ate morning glory in Thailand, but I was so happy to know that it was served under the name of Gongsimchae^^ I had a soft stir-fried side dish with enough stems stir-fried according to the recipe given by Mr. Garu. Thank you ^^
