Tarte aux pommes apple tart
Here in Brittany, France, there are lots of apples and pears. Maybe that's why there are many apple trees in every house. As I was struggling to get rid of the apples I got here and there, I decided to tart.

Ingredients
  • Flour
    300g
  • Butter
    200g
  • an egg yolk
    1ea
  • Sugar
    5spoon
  • Water
    20g
  • Butter
    2spoon
  • Sugar
    7spoon
  • cinnamon powder
    1spoon
  • apple
    4ea
Cooking Steps
STEP 1/9
Knead flour, sugar, butter, and egg yolk to form tarts.
STEP 2/9
Knead the butter so well that you can't see the grains.

Place wide dough in refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
STEP 4/9
To make it like a flower on top, I sliced one apple thinly, sprinkled a tablespoon of sugar on top, and cooled it in the microwave for 1 minute.
STEP 5/9
Now prepare the braised apples to put inside.
Melt sugar and butter over high heat to form syrup, mixed with apples over medium heat, and boiled over low heat with cinnamon powder.
STEP 6/9
Remove the old dough and melt the butter about 1 cup of coffee and spread it on the tart mold.
STEP 7/9
Spread the dough into the tart mold and fill it, pour the boiled apples inside, fill it, and decorate it according to your preference.
STEP 8/9
Preheat in the oven at 180 degrees for at least 10 minutes and bake at 175 degrees for 35 minutes.

Adjust the concentration of sugar and cinnamon powder to your liking. It's also delicious with praline powder.
