Chinese burdock gangjeong
I went to a buffet for lunch with my elementary school friends, and there was burdock gangjeong. I fell in love with the taste of constantly cravings. It goes well with beer as a side dish.

Ingredients
  • Burdock
    2piece
  • potato starch
    2spoon
  • Cooking oil
    2cup
  • Soy sauce
    3T
  • Sugar
    3T
  • Starch syrup
    2T
  • Water
    3T
  • Red pepper powder
    little
  • Sesame
    little
Cooking Steps
STEP 1/8
Wash burdock thoroughly, cut it sideways, soak it in cold water for 10 minutes, and drain it.
STEP 2/8
Remove moisture with a kitchen towel and add 1T of potato starch.
STEP 3/8
When the burdock is moistened, add 1T more starch powder and mix it.
STEP 4/8
Crispy in the oil
STEP 5/8
After removing the oil
STEP 6/8
Boil the sauce (soy sauce 3, sugar 3, starch syrup 2, water 3, and a little pepper powder).
STEP 7/8
Mix the fried burdock chips evenly with the sauce.
STEP 8/8
Sprinkle the sesame seeds and serve them deliciously.
Add or subtract soy sauce and sugar to your liking~^^

    I wanted to enjoy burdock instead of braised burdock soy sauce, so I looked for it. I think I can eat a lot of burdock if I do this. I ate deliciously with my family.

    It's good. Elementary students don't eat it I thought it would be crispy, but is it because I drained less water or is it normally chewy? Anyway, I'm very satisfied
