How to make crispy lotus root chips
I don't buy lotus roots, but I keep looking at the lotus roots in the vegetable section. Buy me one "Cook me~" I think it's like that..^^ I bought a small one, but it's not enough to cook, so I was thinking about frying or chips. I like simple dishes, so I choose lotus root chips!!!

Ingredients
  • lotus root
  • Cooking oil
Cooking Steps
STEP 1/8
After washing the soil, lotus roots that look like this appear.
STEP 2/8
I peeled the skin off with a filler. It's showing the white flesh.
STEP 3/8
When I cut it, I had to cut off one side... I think I cut about 400 won worth of it.
STEP 4/8
Place lotus root on shredder slicer and cut. You can cut it with a knife, but I think it'll be a bit thick.
STEP 5/8
Lotus roots are soaked in water to drain starch. I think I made it for about 10 to 20 minutes.
STEP 6/8
Wipe off the water with a towel. That way, the oil won't splash when it's fried, right?
STEP 7/8
Fry it in oil. I fried it in a small frying pan because I didn't have a lot of lotus roots. I'm wondering if I should take out the fryer. LOL
STEP 8/8
I pushed it with a slicer, so it's thin, so I'll ride it a little late.
I got a bit tanned while taking pictures
