STEP 1/8
Wash the octopus thoroughly, cut it into the size of a thumb, and mix it with minced garlic.
STEP 2/8
Mix the dough ingredients well first, then peel and mix with the washed minced carrots, cabbage and green onion powder.
STEP 3/8
Apply cooking oil evenly to the preheated takoyaki pan over medium heat using a brush.
STEP 4/8
Pour the dough so that it doesn't spill over into the pan and spread it out evenly! Add octopus mixed with minced garlic in each compartment and sprinkle with tenkas. Add minced garlic, which was mixed with octopus.
STEP 5/8
When the dough becomes slightly transparent as it cooks, turn it upside down by one-third as shown in the picture using a long wooden skewer or chopstick. Shake dough into a circle, pushing it into a circular compartment of dough. I used to use a wooden skewer and changed to a teaspoon. Personally, it's much easier to use a teaspoon
STEP 6/8
I've been waiting for some time If the bottom dough is cooked, turn it 1/3 at a time.. Turn it again.. If you look at it, the ugly octopus bread becomes a pretty takoyaki.
STEP 7/8
It's good to add more cooking oil and cook it almost like it's fried.Turn it upside down so that it's cooked evenly
STEP 8/8
When all sides of takoyaki are golden brown, transfer to a plate! Sprinkle takoyaki sauce, mayonnaise sauce, katsuobushi, and a little bit of green onion powder to complete it.
You can use flour or gravitational powder instead of taco powder. In that case, it is delicious if you use katsuobushi broth instead of water or add a little more salt. It's better if you add ingredients such as sweet corn, pickled ginger, and cheese to your taste.
