STEP 1/11
Prepare the ingredients for making fig jam.
*It's better to adjust the sugar ratio for making jjam.. I'd like to reduce the amount of sugar if I eat it quickly.
STEP 2/11
Cut cleanly washed figs with skin.
* It's for the soft texture, but you can grind it in a blender.
STEP 3/11
The glass bottle is sterilized with hot water like a salted bottle.
STEP 4/11
Place the cut figs in a pot.
STEP 5/11
Prepare the sugar for the jam.
* I used the leftover sugar after making omija syrup, but when making jam, brown sugar is also good.
STEP 6/11
Add sugar to figs.
STEP 7/11
It starts boiling over medium heat.
* Stir well with a spatula so that it doesn't burn underneath.
STEP 8/11
In less than 5 minutes, the fig moisture escapes and makes a lot of soup..
STEP 9/11
When figs boil, adjust to low heat.
STEP 10/11
When it becomes a little thick, adjust it over low heat and stir it with a spatula so that it does not stick until it is zammed.
STEP 11/11
Store in a disinfected glass bottle.
* It's a jam made with a small amount of sugar, so eat it as fast as you can.
- When making fig jam, stir well with a spatula because it can stick to the pot.
