Char siu is a soft boiled pork in soy sauce It's made with pork belly or pork neck, but it takes a long time to cook It's cumbersome. Make a simple version of char siu with grilled pork belly and put it on top of the rice I made a simple char siu over rice

Ingredients
  • Pork belly meat

  • onion

  • Water

  • Soy sauce

Cooking Steps
STEP 1/9
It's grilled pork belly, so I cut it into long, easy-to-eat sizes

Slice the onions thinly and chop the chives
STEP 3/9
Heat a thick pan and put meat on top without oil
Please grill the outside on high heat

Please add the amount of seasoning that's written on it and make the sauce

When the sauce boils, add grilled pork belly
Boil it so that it gets seasoned well

When the sauce is almost boiled down, add a teaspoon of vinegar

If you stir it, the char siu is complete

Put rice on a plate and sprinkle the leftover sauce on top of the rice
Put the sliced onion in the middle and put the boiled pork belly on the edge

Put the chives in the middle and add cherry tomatoes
If you decorate it, it's complete with char siu
I usually use whole pork belly or pork neck, but you can make it simple using thick pork belly You can eat only salty char siu as a side dish or garnish on ramen like in Japan
