Custard cream pie
Do you know the Delimanjoo sold at the highway rest area? My eldest son (husband) loves it. I wanted to make something similar, so I made custard cream pie. I'll introduce you to making a pie, but today's cooking is not about baking, but about making cream. You can make custard cream at home and spread it on various breads to enjoy a variety of things. And of course, it can be similar to Delimanjoo. Now, it's cream pie or cream bread that my son really likes. My second child was born a while ago, and in two years, we can all eat together! It's easy to make, so please try it :)

Ingredients
  • Milk
    1+1/3cup
  • Sugar
    1/3cup
  • potato starch
    1.5T
  • egg
    2ea
Cooking Steps
STEP 1/8
Add 1 1/2 spoonful of starch and 1/3 cup sugar to 2 eggs and mix well.
STEP 2/8
Pour in 1 1/3 cup warm milk.
STEP 3/8
Sift it down and put it in a pot
STEP 4/8
Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring gently with a medium heat.
STEP 5/8
If it becomes soft like this, it's over!
You can easily make it with simple ingredients, but it's a pretty good cream!
Then as a bonus, I'll introduce you to making a pie

I used commercial pies. Leave the frozen pie at room temperature for a while, divide it into quarters, and dip it with a fork.

I put the custard cream on top and put the egg on it. And baked in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 15 minutes.

Bread, castella, hotcake, etc. are delicious to put on any bread. Use it in a variety of ways :)
Bring to a boil stirring sufficiently over uncounted heat so as not to burn or stick to it :)
