Homemade pickled tangerines
If you make and store enough tangerines when they are in season, you can enjoy them all year round. It is also good to boil slowly over low heat and eat it as tangerine tea or use it as a sauce or dressing for various dishes.

  • Water
    1/2 cup
  • Tangerine
    10 ea
  • Sugar
    1/2 cup
  • Salt
    1/2 ts
  • Vinegar

Cooking Steps

Wash tangerines clean and blanch them slightly in boiling water with a little vinegar.
STEP 2/5
Drain completely and slice thinly.
STEP 3/5
Add sugar and water to a pot and boil until sugar dissolves.
STEP 4/5
Add tangerines and boil for about 5 minutes, then add salt and boil again.
STEP 5/5
When it cools completely, store it in an airtight container with soup.
