Please give me the fridge. Chef Oh Se-deuk's "Gye-deuk"!
In this week's "Please Take Care of My Refrigerator," chefs used Kim Heung-guk's refrigerator ingredients to showcase their dishes. The dish I've tried is one of the recipes with the theme of 'egg dishes'. Chef Oh Se-deuk's egg dish "Gye-deuk" is really good. It is said that it used the recipe of the British dish 'Scotchieg'. It's fun to make it, so try it ~ ^^

Cooking Steps
STEP 1/23
Please prepare the ingredients. (Please note that the broadcast uses beef bone broth instead of soup, and beef for steamed ribs instead of minced meat.)
STEP 2/23
Seasoning and sauce ingredients.
STEP 3/23
First, boil 1t of vinegar or salt in a pot with enough water to cover the eggs. (For easy peeling)
STEP 4/23
Cut the cabbages
STEP 5/23
Chop the garlic and green onion into small pieces and prepare. (I'll mix it with the meat, so I'll have to chop it
STEP 6/23
It's a meat seasoning. 1 spoonful of soy sauce
STEP 7/23
Add 1t of honey or sugar. (We use sugar on the show)
STEP 8/23
Put the meat in a bowl and put all the minced garlic, chopped green onions, and seasonings
STEP 9/23
Mix it well.
STEP 10/23
Add 1t of potato starch and mix well. (Use flour on the show)
STEP 11/23
Grease a pan, stir-fry cabbage and green onions and add 1T of soy sauce.
STEP 12/23
Add 1t of sesame oil / soup powder (in the broadcast, beef bone broth).
STEP 13/23
Add water until the ingredients are half submerged and bring to a boil. Bring to a slow boil over low heat. (If you use beef bone broth, you don't have to add water.)
STEP 14/23
Soak boiled eggs in cold water for 5 to 6 minutes and let cool for a while.
STEP 15/23
You can cool it down and peel it off.
STEP 16/23
Pour plenty of cooking oil into a pot (about 1cm) and raise the temperature over medium heat.
STEP 17/23
While you put oil on it, you can coat the eggs with meat.
STEP 18/23
Cover each other tightly so that they stick together well. (Prevention of Breakage)
STEP 19/23
Place the meatballs in a heated pot and start frying.
STEP 20/23
From time to time, tilt the pot and cook it thoroughly. Cooking with oil is also a way.
STEP 21/23
Meanwhile, add two pinch of starch and a pinch of pepper to the sauce that has begun to boil down and finish.
STEP 22/23
Remove meatballs cooked evenly for about 5 minutes and drain for a while.
STEP 23/23
Please cut it in half. (It's better if it's a half-boiled egg)! Put it in a bowl with sauce and enjoy it ^^
The meat is seasoned with soy sauce and sugar, and there is not much oil, so don't leave it alone because it can burn quickly, and make it cook evenly while rolling. It's more delicious to eat soft-boiled eggs than hard-boiled eggs! Eat it with bread or rice ~ ^^
