How to make bibim-guksu
Today, I made bibim-guksu with crunchy kimchi. I cut pears and put them in, and it was sweet and crunchy. When you're hungry, you can make bibim-guksu and serve it, or it's good as a meal replacement. I'll show you how to make bibim-guksu.

  • Red pepper powder
  • Soy sauce
  • Sugar
  • Sesame oil

Cooking Steps
STEP 1/10
I had a hard time preparing a lot of meals, so I made a simple bibim-guksu today. I've prepared kimchi for you and a pear for the holidays. It's delicious even if you put hard fruits like apples and sweet persimmons.
STEP 2/10
I added onions, shredded pears, kimchi, and a small amount of kimchi soup. The kids ate so much that I think they prepared about 7 servings.
STEP 3/10
The seasoning is based on 1 serving of sugar, 1 soy sauce, half red pepper powder, half red pepper paste, sesame oil, sesame seeds. It's a Jongwon Baek bibim-guksu sauce. It tastes much better with soy sauce. I made it for 7 people, so I added more seasoning.
STEP 4/10
I poured plenty of water and boiled the noodles. When it boils up, add a cup of cold water and boil it to make the noodles chewy. The amount of noodles is amazing.
STEP 5/10
When the noodles are fully cooked, rinse them in cold water and remove them by rubbing the starch tightly. That way, the noodles get chewy.
STEP 6/10
I made seven servings and emptied them all in one meal.
STEP 7/10
You can mix it with the sauce, add the noodles, and mix it well.
STEP 8/10
Add sesame oil and sesame seeds and mix.
STEP 9/10
Bibim-guksu is done. It's simple. It's made with fresh kimchi, so I like the crunchy texture.
STEP 10/10
If you put pear and seaweed flakes on top, it becomes delicious bibim-guksu. It was a bit spicy because I used a lot of it, but it was crunchy, sweet, and delicious because I added pear. It tastes better with soy sauce.
