You all have tteokbokki and rice cake at home, right?
I do make tteok-bokki and eat it
I don't make it as often as I think
I think there's always a handful in the freezer.
Please prepare a toothpick, too.

I'm going to boil the tteokbokki rice cake in boiling water.
If you keep it in the freezer or refrigerator, the rice cake gets hard ~
I'm going to boil it and make it soft.

When the water boils, add the rice cake and bring to a boil.
If you boil it too much, it can break even if you just pick up the rice cake with chopsticks.
Simmer on low heat for 2 minutes.
If you pick it up with chopsticks, it'll feel soft.

Let's strain the boiled rice cake
You can put the soft rice cake on the plate
If there's no water, the plates or rice cakes stick to each other, so add a little bit of boiling water

It tastes better when it's warm! You can add red pepper paste and ketchup if you like :) But I added more red pepper paste and it tastes like red pepper paste I felt the old taste of the ratio at the top

    The children blew double thumbs up. We didn't like salty things, so we made soy sauce half the recipe. Gochujang also has a different taste, so I'm going to try it next time without soy sauce. I really enjoyed the meal.
