STEP 1/7
You can make it easily at a boiled pork restaurant. I prepared garlic and bay leaves. You can add green onion and white roots, or you can skip it if you don't have bay leaves. When you make boiled pork, you can use pork belly for bossam, pork neck, or front leg meat. Usually, I prefer the front leg part, but today, I made pork with pork belly to feel like I'm eating out.
STEP 2/7
I prepared garlic and bay leaves. It's okay if you add coffee powder.
STEP 3/7
You can cook boiled pork in a regular pot. When there is a lot of meat like my house, the pressure cooker becomes fast and soft. I put meat, green onions, whole garlic, and bay leaves in a pressure cooker. It's in a pressure cooker, so they didn't cut the meat and put it in a container. In a regular pot, you have to cut the meat into the right size It'll cook quickly.
STEP 4/7
I poured enough soju and added a spoonful of soybean paste. I'm going to eat it with bossam kimchi, so you don't need to add a lot of soybean paste, but it's good to add a little bit of it to remove the smell. You can add soybean paste or coffee powder.
STEP 5/7
It's cooked in a pressure cooker, so it cooks quickly. Boil it over high heat and when it starts to turn, lower it to medium heat and boil it for 15 minutes. (I used 1.2 kilos of meat) Just let it steam out and open it. When you boil this much meat in a regular pot, you should boil it for about an hour.
STEP 6/7
I opened it without hot steam, and the boiled pork is well boiled
STEP 7/7
You can cut it into bite-size pieces.
