STEP 1/12
Prepare potatoes by peeling them.
STEP 2/12
Cut off the potato peel, cut into small sizes, and place in a blender. I actually had to grind it on a grater, but I just ground it on a blender. If you grind it in a blender, the bad thing is that it doesn't form well when you make the core shape, so it's better to go to the grater.
STEP 3/12
It's a potato ground in a blender.
STEP 4/12
Drain on a sieve or cloth. You can't just throw away the water. It's easy to make a shape when you squeeze it without water.
STEP 5/12
Allow the filtered water from the potatoes to subside for about 10 minutes. At this time, under clear water above, it forms in sediment. This precipitate is potato starch.
STEP 6/12
Please make the broth for the potato ongsim. Boil kelp and anchovies in water. When the water starts to boil, take out the kelp and turn it to low heat and boil it for about 10 more minutes.
STEP 7/12
Please prepare vegetables while the broth is boiling. I sliced zucchini and onions and prepared them.
STEP 8/12
Pour some fresh water from the potatoes on top. Mix only the potato starch that has settled at the bottom with the squeezed potatoes. I ground it with a blender, so I added some commercial potato starch powder. You have to add half a spoon of salt to make it taste good.
STEP 9/12
If the broth is thick, remove the anchovies. If you have a lot of anchovy powder, you can make it neat by filtering the soup through a sieve.
STEP 10/12
Add vegetables and rice cakes to the boiling broth. Make potato ongsimi round and put it in. The dough was a bit sticky, so I made it round and put it in I put in rice cake because the kids liked it. You don't have to add sujebi or anything to suit your taste. Boil it for a long time, add green onion song, and boil it for 2 more minutes.
STEP 11/12
Don't worry that the dough won't make a good shape just because it's a little tough. If you put it in a boiling broth, it makes Ongsimi deliciously like this. But you have to put it in when it boils. Taste the soup and add salt or soy sauce if it's bland.
STEP 12/12
Potato Ongshimi is done. Please put a generous bowl in the noodle bowl for easy to eat. It's a good sense to sprinkle pepper.
