STEP 1/12
Place 1 bag of hotteok mix in a wide bowl and pour the amount of warm water as described in the manual.
STEP 2/12
First, knead it roughly using a spoon, and then knead it with your hands.
STEP 3/12
If you put it in a plastic bag and leave it at room temperature for 20 to 30 minutes, it will swell. You don't have to go through this process, but if you go through the fermentation process, the dough becomes much softer.
STEP 4/12
Chop 1 bag of nuts.
STEP 5/12
There are some peanuts in the hotteok mix, but I prepared it separately and made a seed hotteok rich in nuts.
STEP 6/12
You can see that it's much bigger than it was at the beginning, right?
STEP 7/12
Cast it again with your hands and cut it into small pieces.
STEP 8/12
You have to make it smaller than the hotteok you make in the frying pan. You have to put it back in the plastic bag and take it out one by one so that the dough doesn't dry up.
STEP 9/12
Suture with brown sugar and nuts
STEP 10/12
Press it down to make it like this and put it in a plastic bag.
STEP 11/12
After making them all, take out two at a time and bake them in a waffle pan. You have to press the waffle pan lightly so that the hotteok doesn't pop.
STEP 12/12
After baking, take it out and let it cool on a cooling net.
