Making braised sweet pumpkin with chicken wings
My husband shared a net of fist-sized mini sweet pumpkin with his brothers and sisters, but there are still many in the refrigerator. I cooked it with chicken wings.

  • Mini sweet pumpkin

  • onion

  • Cheongyang red pepper
    3ea
  • leek

  • Soy sauce
  • red pepper paste
  • Red pepper powder
  • cooking wine
  • Sugar
Cooking Steps
STEP 1/8
Cut the sweet pumpkin clean and place on a plate and microwave it for about a minute.
STEP 2/8
Remove the pumpkin, cut and remove the seeds.
STEP 3/8
Chop sweet pumpkin, onion, cheongyang vinegar and green onion into bite-size pieces.
STEP 4/8
Pour chicken wings and 1/2 cup water into a skillet and bring to a boil.
STEP 5/8
While boiling, add soy sauce, red pepper paste, red pepper powder, cooking wine, and sugar 1:1:1:1:1 (two spoons each, but I added plum extract instead of sugar).
STEP 6/8
When the meat is half cooked, add the sweet pumpkin and boil it down together.
STEP 7/8
Stir-fry the onions, cheongyang vinegar, and green onions and add sesame oil to finish.
STEP 8/8
Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and finish it off.

    My husband bought it in a box because I like sweet pumpkin. I was worried about how to deal with it on a hot day, but I said it was all ingredients at home. My husband has to wait and eat it together, but he's going to eat it all after tasting it. Thank you for the delicious recipe
