Cover and bring to a boil over high heat, then lower to medium heat and bring to a boil for at least 5 minutes. When it starts to boil, lower the heat to medium and bring to a boil. Open the lid and pour the soup so that the seasoning is evenly soaked. Once the lid is open, just keep it open and boil. Boil it a little longer and the braised mackerel is done.
It's delicious even if you put potatoes instead of radish.
