Wash shiitake mushrooms gently under running water, remove the column, and cut them into quarters. You can put the pillars separately and put them back in the soup or jangjorim.

Peel and wash potatoes, carrots, and onions and cut them into bite-size pieces. Pork is prepared with low-fat sirloin. I prepared peas, too.
