STEP 1/6
It's better to remove the chicken skin while washing it with cold water. That way, it's more savory and delicious.
STEP 2/6
Put the chicken in boiling water and add about 3 tablespoons of soju to remove the fishy smell. You can also add pepper or onions. If impurities come to mind, throw away the boiled water and scoop out the chicken.
STEP 3/6
Please make the sauce beforehand while the chicken is boiling. Please make the sauce according to the amount of seasoning. If the cabbage kimchi is salty, you should adjust the soy sauce.
STEP 4/6
Put kimchi on one side of the pot and pour the boiled chicken, potatoes, and sauce evenly.
STEP 5/6
Add about 300ml of water. (As shown in the picture, add the chicken until it is slightly submerged.) While boiling, pour the seasoning on top and stir-fry it until it is cooked evenly. When it boils up, turn the heat down to medium heat, cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
STEP 6/6
When the potatoes are cooked, the chicken is cooked to a certain extent. Since I added kimchi, I don't think I need any other seasoning. If you cut the green onion and put it on top, it's done!
Season at the end of the dish. The chicken can be salty as it is boiled down.
