Crispy diet hotteok. Kaya jam hotteok
Today, I made it with delicious kaya jam. It's chocolate flavored jam.. Sometimes it tastes good with plain yogurt. Kaya jam is made by boiling eggs at low temperatures for a long time. So the texture is just like red bean paste.. It's not that sweet. Kaya chocolate flavored jam with a lot of pecans... It's so good.

Ingredients
  • Hotteok mix
  • Kaya jam
  • pecan
Cooking Steps
STEP 1/5
Melt the instant yeast in warm water first, kneaded the hotteok mix for 5 minutes, heated the oven warm, put the water in a cup, and ferment it for about 30 minutes.
STEP 2/5
I mixed the chopped pecans well with kaya jam. I think I used about half a bottle of kaya jam in a box of hotteok mix. I ground a handful of pecans into a hand blender to make it savory. Mix it well.
STEP 3/5
After about 30 minutes, I took off the dough that was swollen and put it inside like this.
STEP 4/5
Place the closed part in a well-coated, non-greasy frying pan on the floor, cook it for a while on low heat, flip it over, press it with a fritter tender, and place it in an oven pan and bake it in a 200 degree convection oven for 15 minutes.
STEP 5/5
If you bake it in the oven, the hotteok swells up. It's not oily at all and it's crispy on the outside, right?
