Cooking Steps
STEP 1/3
Put the kelp in 5 cups of water and let it soak for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
STEP 2/3
Boil the water soaked in kelp. Once the kelp boils, remove the kelp, add katsuobushi, and boil it over low heat for 2-3 minutes.
STEP 3/3
Strain the katsuobushi in the boiled broth on a fine strainer or cloth.
