Prepare bacon by slicing it into appropriate sizes, and prepare onions by slicing it thinly. Separate the yolk from the egg, and chop the raw parsley, if any. I don't have raw parsley, so I'll replace it with dried parsley powder

The noodles I used in Carbonara are spaghetti, which is much thinner than spaghetti noodles. I think the thin side looks better to feel the savory taste of the cream. Boil 1L of water and 10g of salt in a pot, then add spaghetti on time. When it's done, strain it through a sieve.
