Wash deodeok in running water and soak it in warm water for a while before removing it. Deodeok is a healthy ingredient, but it is inconvenient to remove the skin of deodeok because it has essence on it. However, if you remove the skin after washing the deodeok and soak it in warm water for a while, the essence does not get on your hands and the skin can be easily removed.

After removing the skin, pat the deodeok gently with a bat. When I ate deodeok raw while removing the skin of deodeok, it tasted sweeter than bitter.

Add red pepper paste, dark soy sauce, oligosaccharide, minced garlic, minced green onions, and sesame oil and mix them evenly.

Put deodeok in a bowl and put it evenly on deodeok until the sauce gets soaked.

Grease a heated frying pan with cooking oil and cook the marinated deodeok on both sides until golden brown. You can also spread oil paper on a heated frying pan and grill deodeok with sauce.

Wash perilla leaves in running water, remove moisture, slice, and spread them on a plate.

Place 6 pieces of grilled deodeok and sprinkle sesame seeds with garnish.
