STEP 1/6
I took out a half-dried squid from the freezer, washed it in cold water, and sifted it to drain it.
STEP 2/6
Drain again using a kitchen towel.
STEP 3/6
Please cut it into thick pieces. If you cut it too thin, the squid will be cooked, so there's nothing to chew and it'll get tough.
STEP 4/6
1 tablespoon butter in a frying pan. a teaspoon of peanut butter. a tablespoon of sugar. Add 1 teaspoon of minced garlic and melt the butter over high heat.
STEP 5/6
When it boils up, lower the heat to medium and stir-fry the squid for 2-3 minutes. When the transparent squid becomes opaque, it's all cooked.
STEP 6/6
The sweet and savory smell makes me feel better while frying.
Put it in a container and sprinkle a bit of parsley powder, and you'll get a homemade squid peanut butter that's not envious of the rest area snack!!
You can make it with dried squid or water squid, but it's hard to keep up with the soft and chewy texture of semi-dried squid.
