When the meat is cooked, add the bell peppers, add the sauce and continue to boil over medium/high heat. When the meat is cooked to the inside, you can't see the red pit bulls. I was afraid it would get tough if it was cooked too much, so I cooked the meat thoroughly until the surface was cooked and the red blood was not visible.
