Grilled whole pork belly with no fat
I wanted to eat pork belly on my groom's birthday, so I grilled pork belly. Normally, I just buy pork belly and grill it, but to get rid of the oil and eat it lightly, I grilled it with pork belly. Seeing how much oil drips throughout the course of baking makes me feel healthy. It takes some time, but I think it's worth it. Pork belly is sometimes aged in wine and baked, but I was a little worried that my taste buds would accept it, so I just grilled it with the original pork belly flavor. It's also convenient.

Cooking Steps
STEP 1/5
Put the cuts in a grid pattern on the whole pork belly and let it marinate for an hour in the sauce mixed with white wine, salt, and pepper. Put bay leaves on top. If you don't have white wine, you can go to Cheongju. If you don't have that, you can do soju, cooking wine, etc.
STEP 2/5
Once marinated, wrap two layers of foil around the pork belly and make a few holes at the bottom. I pierced it so that the heat goes in and the oil goes out well.
STEP 3/5
Place in an oven preheated to 200 degrees and bake for 40 minutes with a convection function. I put foil on the oven pan so it's good for washing dishes since it's losing a lot of oil. It's burning because of the oil on the bottom.
STEP 4/5
And when it's all bent, carefully peel off the foil with tongs and bake it at 180 degrees for another 10 minutes. It's fully cooked, but it tastes like boiled pork, so I grilled it again to make it look like grilled meat. Turn the meat over once or twice when grilling and change the position. Each oven has different specifications, so please add or subtract the time and temperature. For your information, I use the Convex electric oven L9282W model.
STEP 5/5
When it's done, cut it into bite-size pieces and eat it with green onion salad or various vegetables. I prepared seasoned chives that go well with pork. Seasoned chives just before you eat them, you can mix them with the sauce on top. First, make the sauce and mix it slightly with the chives. This is because if you mix it too much, the chives can go bad and smell green. Now, wrap the whole pork belly in lettuce or radish wraps and enjoy it.
